DE: Nachdem im Brühler Stadtteil Kierberg die Bevölkerungszahl durch den nahen Braunkohleabbau stark anstieg, wurde die Kirche St. Servatius in den Jahren 1903 und 1904 nach Plänen des Architekten Alfred Tepe im Stil der Backsteingotik errichtet. Der Turm mit der Turmuhr befindet sich im Kirchturm auf der Südseite über dem Haupteingang und wurde erst im Jahr 1909 erbaut, gleichförmige Zifferblätter befinden sich auf allen vier Seiten des Turmes in etwa 18m Höhe.

Das goldfarbene Zifferblatt besteht aus schlichten, balkenförmigen Elementen, an den Viertel-Stunden-Positionen 3, 6, 9 und 12 erhielten die Balken drei zusätzliche kleinere Querbalken. Montiert sind die Balkenelemente auf zwei konzentrischen Metallringen. Die Zeiger selbst sind ebenfalls schlichte Balken, die sich nach außen hin etwas verjüngen. Der Hintergrund des Ziffernblattes ist der naturbelassene Backstein.
