Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého se nachází približne uprostred dlouhé ulicní návsi, pri její Z strane (pred domem cp. 29). Socha stojí ve stredu obdélného travnatého pozemku (cca 10 x 6 m), vymezeného kovanou mríží z konce 19. století, orientovaná celem k V. - materiálem je kámen - pískovec - výška celého díla je cca 4,2 m. - výška skulptury cca 1,5 m - v záhybech a na dalších místech šatu viditelné zbytky polychromie - na celní strane podstavce rytý nápis s chronogramem (1719) a záznam o obnove (1844) - na zadní strane podstavce rytý nápis s datem druhé obnovy r. 1878 Základnu kompozice tvorí hranolový podstavec (tradicne clenený na patku, drík a rímsovou hlavici), který spocívá na vysoké podnoži s krátkým schodištem na celní strane.
