The Community Church Longton is located on Caroline Street on the corner with Middle Cross Street in Longton.

The building used by the Community Church Longton was formerly the Congregational Church, it was also known as the Independent Chapel and was built in 1819. The building was rebuilt in 1905 with the date AD 1905 located above the front door on Caroline Street, and both dates on a cornerstone.

The building was in a dilapidated state of repair in the early 1960s. It was rescued and repaired by Mr. Thompstone, who bought it in 1965 after selling his dairy farm.

The Community Church in Longton has used the building since it was established in 2003.

The church website says the church "aims to make the church real to people through;
Worship and Prayer, Reaching the Community and Strong Relationships." The Pastor is Andy King.
