Na tylach Palacu Kazimierzowskiego znajduje sie rosyjska armata z 1909 roku. Jest to trzytonowa, 122 milimetrowa haubica, która upamietnia udzial studentów i pracowników Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej o niepodleglosc Polski.

Oryginalne dzialo, które zdobyto podczas walk w tamtym czasie, stanelo na tylach budynku juz w 1921 roku, jednak w czasach komunizmu po II wojnie swiatowej nie podobalo sie wladzy i zostalo usuniete. Obecna armata stanela w tym miejscu w 1990 roku, tuz po zmianie ustroju.


At the back of the Kazimierzowski Palace there is a Russian cannon from 1909. It is a three-tone, 122 millimeter howitzer, which commemorates the participation of students and employees of the University of Warsaw in the Polish-Bolshevik war for Polish independence.

The original cannon, which was captured during the fights at that time, stood in the back of the building as early as 1921, however, under communism after World War II it did not like the authorities and was removed. The current cannon stood there in 1990, just after the change of political system.
