“The Saint-James church dates from 1900-1901; it succeeds the first two temples of the Anglican parish of Saint-James (founded in 1823), burnt down in 1865 and 1900. A place of worship for most of the first English-speaking settlers of Hull, the church housed, from 1977, the French-speaking multiethnic Christian community, Saint-Bernard-de-Clairvaux.
