Main Portal
The main portal, which overlooks the University Square, is the work of the architect José de Bada and was made in the 18th century. It is made up of two bodies with Corinthian columns on high carved pedestals and white marble reliefs, representing scenes from the history of the Society of Jesus. Above this stands the second body, flanked by small columns with a pediment broken by a relief of the conversion of Saint Paul, and on top of it the statue of Saint Ignatius.
