A mural of Ronald Reagan by Ron Sweeney was painted in 2011 on the now former location of the Putnam County Republican Party Headquarters.

The west facing mural of former US President Ronald Reagan depicts him smiling while wearing a hat. The background of the mural shows the US flag stars and stripes. Reagan is described as "A Great American", and the years of his life (1911-2014) are listed. The mural is starting to show it's age, and a few sections are starting to peel off the concrete wall. As it is no longer on the wall of the Putnam County Republic Party Headquarters, I bet that it will not stay this way too much longer before it is painted over and used for advertisement space.

Ronald Reagan was a popular actor and a popular Republican US President in the 1980s.
