La petite église Saint-Columban rappelle la vocation agricole des terres de Templeton-Ouest au XIXe siècle. De style géorgien, elle a été érigée en 1899 par les colons irlandais installés trop loin de Pointe-Papineau pour aller y entendre des messes. Le petit cimetière adjacent abrite les tombes des pionniers d’origine catholique et irlandaise de cette région rurale. L’église Saint-Columban a été inventoriée en 2004.

The small church of Saint-Columban recalls the agricultural vocation of the lands of Templeton-Ouest in the 19th century. Georgian in style, it was erected in 1899 by Irish settlers living too far from Pointe-Papineau to go there to hear masses. The adjacent small cemetery is home to the graves of Catholic and Irish pioneers from this rural area. Saint Columban’s Church was inventoried in 2004.
