This trailhead, on Vine at Tarleton, is the northwest end of the Bosque River Trail. The trail, total length about 1.5 miles, runs along the north bank of the Bosque River through Stephenville. The trail route is both open and wooded with good view of the river at many locations. You will encounter grass and native plants are along the trail as well. For your convenience you will also find bike storage, benches, lighting, litter receptacles, and mile markers along the trail.
