Ved Kanalbyen er der mange hængelåse på den lille bro over kanalen. Mange nygifte hænger en hængelås med deres forbogstaver fast i gelænderet ved broen, og smider nøglen i vandet som et symbol på evigt troskab.
Broen er fra 2015 og der circa 60 hængelåse, så der er plads til mange endnu.
Kanalbyen i Fredericia er en ny bydel med attraktive, moderne boliger, kunst i verdensklasse, byhaver, kanaler og aktiviteter for børn og voksne. Det nye byområde ligger direkte ud til Lillebælt.


At Kanalbyen there are many padlocks on the small bridge over the canal. Many newly married put a padlock with their initials in the railing by the bridge, throwing the key into the water as a symbol of eternal fidelity.
The bridge is from 2015 and there are about 60 padlocks.
Kanalbyen in Fredericia is a new district with attractive, modern homes, world-class art, city gardens, canals and activities for children and adults. The new urban area is located directly next to the Little Belt.
