Vor einigen Jahren wurde im Vorgarten des Künneth'schem Hauses in Gefrees ein durch die Oberfrankenstiftung geförderter Stein aufgestellt, der an die frühere Bedeutung der Handelsstraße 'Via Imperii' erinnern soll. Demnach waren von hier nach Nürnberg 3 Reisetage und nach Leipzig 4 Reisetage notwendig. Geniest den Aufenthalt hier!
