Three-bay , center-entrance, center-chimney cottage believed to have been built as a distillery for the Bigelow Tavern across the street. Relatively minor changes appear to have affected the exterior of the building when it was converted to a residence near the end of the 19th century. These include bay windows flanking the main entry, and a spindle porch .
