This memorial is also in the form of a Celtic cross on a stepped base and was unveiled in 1920 by Mrs Kate Childe, of Barwick, whose son Derrick was killed in the Great War.

A plaque was added which commemorates the Barwick men who died in the Second World War. It was unveiled at a special ceremony on Sunday, 24 July 1949. The Rector, Reverend Canon Gray MA conducted the service, and the plaque was unveiled by Mr W. Senior in his capacity as Chairman of the Barwick in Elmet and Scholes British Legion.

There are three plaques at the base of the cross, dedicating the cross to the First World War, the names of the dead in the war and than a Second World War plaque.
