The glass roofs of the Saint-Génitour church were the subject of several creation campaigns between the years 1860 and 1970. The oldest were installed in 1862 by Julien-Léopold Lobin in the choir and the apse, but they were replaced in 1970 by ornamental compositions by Philippe Devivier. In 1873 and 1875, Lucien-Léopold Lobin intervened in the nave, while Julien Fournier left a stained glass window in the north aisle in 1886. Also in the 1880s, the parish turned to Charles Champigneulle for the creation of two glass roofs in this same aisle, then, in 1899, at the Etienne et Mouilleron workshop for two new windows for the south aisle, completed in 1900 by a stained glass window signed Buche and Balmet.
"It owes its origin to a priory dependent until the Revolution of the Abbey of Déols. It has a nave with three bays flanked by aisles and a choir flat bedside formed of two bays.
The Romanesque choir and bell tower date back to the 12th century. The central nave, Gothic, was built in the 13th century. The south-east chapel is from the 15th century, the aisles date from the 17th and 19th centuries.
Note the beautiful Romanesque capitals of the choir and the cul-de-lamp carved grimacing heads of choir and bell tower.
As the legend of the Good Saints reports, Genitour passed his finger through the door, entered the chapel where he lay down, marking the place of his burial. The left leaf of the portal always has a hole recalling this episode. "
