TC Capelle was created in February 2011 from the merger of the two Capel tennis clubs, CTC and LTC De Blinkert. The club has almost 1000 members, of which about 200 youth members and 800 seniors. The club was set up as a real association for and by members, in which it is all about keeping the club running together. Volunteers play an essential role in the club. In the club there is a balance between activities, between recreational tennis and competition tennis. Top tennis is not a priority in the club. There are rules for the division of court capacity between recreational and competition tennis, tennis lessons, youth tennis and events.
