Coimbra is a historical town, home of one of the oldest universities in the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fortunately its bus station is well located and allows a walk to the historical center, about 1,5 km far.
It's not a modern terminal, but it's functional and there is a nice cafe / restaurant / pastry shop.
