County of display: Franklin County
Location of plow: Olie St. & Selmer St., New Haven
Built: about 1903
Built By LeRoy Plow Company

Garden plows like this are still made, mostly by Beaver Plow Company.

This one looks as if it was once a horse (mule or oxen) pulled, and human muscled around.

Some are human powered and pushing can be a chore...but handy and not much in use today because, unless old school gardener, every yuppie is going for the gas guzzlers.
