This is a set of two utility boxes placed side by side in the center of Albufeira, a town in southern Portugal.

There are a few interesting painted utility boxes in Albufeira. In this narrow alley leading to a ocean viewpoint there are two of these boxes, placed side by side.
In one of them the artist was inspired in a picture owned by the municipality. It shows a segment of the coastline, with the ocean and cliffs. The second shows a cat. Ironically it seems a real cat likes to lie on the top of the box. The box with the cat is a rare case (in Albufeira) of boxes with decoration in a side face, where one can see two little cats. Both were painted by the same artist.
