The Ross Mausoleum stands in a focal point of Highland Cemetery. On the east side of the mausoleum is a single stained-glass window, depicting flowers and a shield. The mausoleum entrance on the west side is usually locked, but the window can be viewed from there by looking through the glass doors. It is quite striking when the rising sun is behind it.
