Prater Cemetery, established in 1908, is the final rest for about 85 souls. The source that brought me here implied that the cemetery had been abandoned and was overgrown with weeds and full of animal holes, but on my visit it was clear that the cemetery is being maintained and is possibly still active, with a few grave sites giving death years from 2000 to 2008. However as is the case for all desert cemeteries be aware of flora and fauna that poke, bite, and sting!
