Here at the Oude IJssel river lies this bailey bridge to allow cyclists and pedestrians to go to one of the parking areas of the DRU fabriek and a nature reserve.
The bridge was bought in 2001 from the Municipality of Zwolle for an amount of 35,000 Euro.
There, from 1992 until 2001, the bridge had served as a bicycle bridge from Weteringkade to Zandput Seldoorn.
The bridge was rebuilt in 2001 by Dutch military personnel from the Engineers on this spot.
