Patriotic Display at Veterans Park in Auburn WA. M56 Scorpion is not a armored vehicle. It is a lightweight self propelled 90mm gun designed to be air transportable to support Airborne and light infantry forces. Was intended to provide protection against enemy tanks. Was used by the countries of Spain and Morocco. Had a short service life and is little known today.
