This beautiful Carnegie library, constructed in 1903, actually opened in 1904 and served as a library until 1973, when a newer and considerably larger library was opened in Newton. The building now houses the Harvey County Historical Museum and Archives. A historical marker on the east side of the building provides a brief history.
