Access is easy. Take the Kaputar Road off Old Gunnedah Rd about 2 Km SE from Narrabri. Follow Kaputar Rd to the end which brings you to the Summit of Mount Kaputar. There are steps up to the viewing platform which overlooks the surrounding National Park. The Trig is on the platform.
