My Commentary:
This timeline is on the fourth floor of the Ocean (eastern) Section of the Chattanooga Aquarium in the northwestern corner of the building. As you can see from the overview photo, there is a great view of the river as well as the courtyard between the two buildings of the aquarium. Current price for adults is 35.95 for admission to the Aquarium. -

This Tennessee River timeline discusses the effects the Tennessee River has had upon the history of Chattanooga and the area. The timeline starts with the date 1455 which is the earliest known evidence of Cherokee inhabitation of the area and ends with 2005 which is the date of the Tennessee Aquarium's Ocean Journey being completed.
