This 1969 bridge is over the South Branch of the Chicago River at 35th Street.

This bridge spans the Chicago River at 35th Street, near the intersection with Racine in what used to be the city's central manufacturing district. The river then was used in service to industry then but now has been restored to a more natural state and is a popular location for rowers. The bridge carries vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic.

The bridge plaque is original to the bridge, dating from 1969. The full inscription reads:
