Plusieurs écrits du 13e siècle mentionnent l'existence d'un hôpital comprenant bâtiment hospitalier et chapelle. L'emplacement de ce premier hôpital n'est pas connu. Dès le 14e siècle, une nouvelle maison hospitalière et une chapelle furent bâties, probablement sur l'emplacement de l'ancien hôpital. Cet édifice fut incendié par les Protestants en 1569, et reconstruit au début du 17e siècle. Au 18e siècle, remplacé par l'ancien couvent des Clarisses, il servit de maison de charité pour les pauvres de la paroisse, jusqu'à la Révolution. Fermé en 1791, il fut à nouveau ouvert sous le Concordat. Fermé définitivement en 1830, il fut vendu au département et utilisé pour abriter la gendarmerie. L'hôpital et la chapelle forment un rectangle dont le centre était occupé par une cour à usage de cloître au 14e siècle. La façade principale sur cour présente un escalier en pierre à balustres, desservant une galerie courant sur la longueur, et dont le départ est marqué par un haut pilier. Au rez-de-chaussée, un promenoir couvert ouvre par sept arcades. Le long de la chapelle, remplacé par des constructions, devait exister une galerie de cloître au 14e siècle.

Several writings from the 13th century mention the existence of a hospital comprising a hospital building and a chapel. The location of this first hospital is not known. From the 14th century, a new hospitable house and a chapel were built, probably on the site of the old hospital. This building was burnt down by the Protestants in 1569, and rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century. In the 18th century, replaced by the former convent of the Poor Clares, it served as a charity house for the poor of the parish, until the Revolution. Closed in 1791, it was again opened under the Concordat. Closed definitively in 1830, it was sold to the department and used to house the gendarmerie. The hospital and the chapel form a rectangle, the center of which was occupied by a courtyard used as a cloister in the 14th century. The main facade overlooking the courtyard has a stone staircase with balusters, serving a gallery running the length, and the start of which is marked by a high pillar. On the ground floor, a covered walkway opens with seven arches. Along the chapel, replaced by buildings, there must have been a cloister gallery in the 14th century.
