Vinha Velha is an unique community: it's a German community, formed by who some people describe as "hippies" some decades ago. It's located a couple of kilometers from the village of Barão de São João.
Just outside Vinha Velha there is a tomb under a tree. It's tombstone has carved on stone a poem - in German - of one of the greatest Portuguese poets of all times, Fernando Pessoa.
