NRHP Nomination Form"Originally a 1-story Victorian house built before 1888 when Rufus Green bought it, adding a kitchen & bath. In 1910 W.B. Ransome, Green's son-in-law, added the upper story & changed to Neo-Classical style.
Represents a fine example of the architectural evolution of a structure. Stylistically, the house has transformed from a Victorian to a Neo-Classical Revival building.
