An old house was razed, and this new structure was constructed for Subway. In the process of construction the sidewalk in front of the side was totally destroyed...so, a new sidewalk had to be poured.
Someone, maybe the employees of Subway at the time, marked the event with their grubby (maybe really clean) hands.
Two slabs of sidewalk were poured. The right hand side has a hand with the initials EH, and is a positive image on the concrete...not usre how they did that. - The left hand hand has the initials AMF, and is an imprint into the concrete.
Who's hands, I could not find out ... and the exact date of construction - no one inside Subway had a clue.
