The Spitalkirche is a late Gothic church building in Baden-Baden that serves as a place of worship for the Old Catholic Church . It is located below the Friedrichsbad, right next to the entrance to the Caracalla thermal baths.
The current chapel was built between 1468 and 1478 and was connected to a hospital for the sick, which was closed in the 19th century. The chapel was largely destroyed in the town fire in 1689 during the War of the Palatinate Succession and only rebuilt in the 18th century. It was equipped with a baroque tower. In 1963–1966, a major restoration took place in which the church was shortened by 7 m and a new organ gallery was built.
