This abandoned windmill can be found in Santa Luzia area, on the hills north of Loule.
The spot is 330 meters above sea level and the views are astonishing. The structure can be entered and the stairs leading to what used to be the first floor are still functional so the visitor can climb up and enjoy the best of the views.
Most likely the windmill was used to grind wheat and make flour for bread making.
