Texas Plains Trail

"This quilt trail honors Texas' largest agricultural crop - cotton. Ten 7' X 7' quilt blocks painted in wooded panels are placed throughout the county. As the fifth largest cotton producing county in the nation, Terry County farmers grow short staple cotton, the type used to manufacture fabric."

Your Visit:
We were just arriving to town from the south and saw the quilt along the roadway. We stopped to take pictures. We learned later that there are more of these quilts displayed around town.
