This bell is dedicated to all those killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 1941.
USS Cassin, DD43, was torpedoed in WWI.
USS Cassin, DD372, was bombed and burned at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Dec 7, 1941.
Repaired, it returned to duty.
The Cassin was awarded six battle stars for South Pacific action.

LOCATION: Marker is in Cynthiana, Kentucky, in Harrison County. Memorial is at the intersection of Main Street and Pike Street, on the left when traveling north on Main Street. The Bell is located in front of the County Courthouse. Marker is in this post office area: Cynthiana KY 41031, United States of America.
