Located on Hontoon Island is a Florida State Park. This island state park is only accessible by boat. A park operated electric ferry operates daily at no cost to passengers from 8:00 am to 1 hour before sunset. There is no entry fee to visit the park. There are camping, cabin rental, canoe/kayak rental fees. The park has a children’s playground, picnic tables and grills, covered pavilion, hiking trails and historical/cultural sites.
