This road bridge spans the width of Cockerton Green. Crossing the West Beck of Cocker Beck
This was once a humped bridge. Demolished flattened and widened around 1925 to allow trams through.
The stone plaques on either side of the bridge read West Bridge 2001. This leads me to believe this may have been when stonework was renewed
