This sculpture represents a bike and it's a homage to the attendees of the famous international gathering of bikers which takes place every year in Faro.

This scrap sculpture was inaugurated in 2012 on a spot of island of Faro. Despite the name the place is not a real island although it might look like that. In fact it's connected to the mainland a few kilometers far to the west.
It's dedicated to the bikers who attend the international gathering of bikers, which takes place every year, in mid July. In its best year the gathering attracted about 50.000 bikers.
Oddly the sculpture has no name and no visible mention to its author.
