De Kerk van de Nazarener is in 1966-1967 naar Nederland gekomen vanuit Amerika. In Haarlem was het eerste kerkgebouw van de protestante stroming. De gemeente in Vlaardingen is in 1982 met twaalf leden begonnen. Inmiddels is het uitgegroeid tot een grote gemeente met een groot kerkgebouw aan de Zwanensingel.

The Church of the Nazarene came to the Netherlands from America in 1966-1967. The first church building of the Protestant movement was in Haarlem. The municipality in Vlaardingen started in 1982 with twelve members. It has since grown into a large congregation with a large church building on the Zwanensingel.
