This church doesn't have a history page on their regular website or their facebook page. The old church's cornerstone says 1924. In 1920 I found an old Austin Statesman article about Rev. Jesse Yelvington, pastor of First Baptist Church of Smithville, visiting relatives. No reference to where the Baptist Church was located in 1920.
