This paved trail is a little off the beaten path for those who are taking the main trail from Gussie Field Watterworth Park, but it's within sight of the back of the City Hall building. Its placement was just one of the festivities from when the city observed its 50th anniversary, which also included re-signing of the city's charter and the unveiling of a commemorative brass seal. The capsule is under a square red granite slab with the city's characteristic "FB" superimposed upon a diamond (for the 50th anniversary, of course), over a ribbon with "1946" on one side, and "1996" on the other. "Reflection of the Past" and "Symbol of the Future" are directly above and below, and the main text reads:
