FR Henri Eugène Auguste Fluchère
Henri Eugène Auguste Fluchère (né à Marseille le 18 novembre 1898, mort à Sainte-Tulle le 20 juillet 1987) est un universitaire et homme politique français.

Il est professeur d'anglais au lycée Thiers de Marseille, où il participe à la rédaction de la revue des Cahiers du Sud.

Parmi ses nombreux engagements, il fut président de la Société française Shakespeare et un critique littéraire renommé. Il joua un rôle important dans la création d'un centre de recherche élisabéthain à Aix-en-Provence et écrivit un livre sur les vins pour la série des Golden Guide (en). Il a également écrit le libretto de L'opéra du gueux, Op. 171 (1937), un opéra ballade en trois actes de Darius Milhaud. Son Laurence Sterne : de Tristram à Yorick, écrit originellement en français, a gagné le prix Scott Moncrieff pour la traduction qu'en a faite Barbara Bray.

Il fut maire de Sainte-Tulle (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) de 1949 à 1953, et conseiller général du canton de 1945 à 1951.

Ce théâtre municipal est une salle d'une centaine de places avec balcon qui est utilisé pour le théâtre, les spectacles de fin d'années des enfants du village et de cinéma.
L'entrée accueille, sous verre, le plus vieux mécanisme de la vieille horloge qui domine le vieux village

Henri Eugène Auguste Fluchère (born in Marseille on November 18, 1898, died in Sainte-Tulle on July 20, 1987) is a French academic and politician.

He is an English teacher at the Lycée Thiers in Marseille, where he contributes to the writing of the review of Cahiers du Sud.

Among his many engagements, he was president of the French Shakespeare Society and a renowned literary critic. He played an important role in the creation of an Elizabethan research center in Aix-en-Provence and wrote a book on wines for the Golden Guide series. He also wrote the libretto for L'opéra du gueux, Op. 171 (1937), a three-act ballad opera by Darius Milhaud. His Laurence Sterne: de Tristram à Yorick, originally written in French, won the Scott Moncrieff prize for the Barbara Bray translation.

He was mayor of Sainte-Tulle (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) from 1949 to 1953, and general councilor of the canton from 1945 to 1951.

This municipal theater is a hall with a hundred seats with balcony which is used for the theater, end-of-year shows for village children and cinema.
