Nice example of a widely-used tractor from the early 1950's. The W-4 was the standard version of Farmall's Model H. The builder's plate on this tractor indicates a build date of 1951.
IHC built a total of just under 34,000 of this model. It was replaced in 1954 by the Super W-4.

This tractor is one of about 100 vintage pieces of farm equipment, tractors and vehicles on display at Pete's Centre Canada Heritage Museum off the Trans Canada Highway just east of Winnipeg, near the village of Tache.
