This family cemetery is today surrounded by suburbia. There are only four headstones remaining, although an interpretive sign at the front of the cemetery suggests that there could be as many as a hundred burials here, the remaining headstones victims of cattle and other neglect. This infant's final resting place is now protected by an enclosure, and her grandfather and a great aunt are buried a few feet away in another such enclosure. The dove is at the top of her headstone, which reads:
