Walter and Barbara Balas grave marker is in Sumac section D Plot 21. This is a fairly new section with slightly raised grave makers. The Balas grave marker is black with white lettering and the Dove of Peace is above their names in the center of the stone.
Walter Balas was born in 1920 and passed away in 1993. He was approximately 73 years of age.
Barbara Balas was born in 1925 and passed away in 2011. She was approximately 86 years of age.
Oliver Cemetery was established in the mid 1870s and is well maintained. There is a veterans section, and a scattering garden toward the back of the cemetery. There are approximately 3,500 interments that are graced by towering trees and well maintained grassy areas. There are numerous dedicated benches and dedicated trees, and a memorial garden with a gazebo.
