This point is the 3rd of the Route of A Esmorga. This is an important book of Blanco Amor. There is a Wherigo of the route.
"The fountain in which the characters stop to quench their thirst is not the one we can see today in this square, a modern work crowned by a beautiful sculpture by Faílde with children's motifs. Next to it is the Belén de Baltar, an impressive sculptural ensemble where, next to the nativity scene, numerous scenes from Ourense of yesteryear are represented. If we look closely, we can find in Bethlehem one of those many taverns mentioned in the novel and, in it, its protagonists, Cibrán, Bocas and Milhomes, a flashback of the sculptor Arturo Baltar to the work of Blanco Amor."

In page 57 appears: "Na fonte de San Cosme bebimos a morro uns grandes grolos da auga da pía, que nos fixo baleirar, de alí a pouco, todo canto tiñamos dentro"
trad: In the fountain of San Cosme we drank a few large sips of water from the sink, which made us empty, soon, everything we had inside
