Cross roads in most cases start at the foot of the hill and chapels are scattered on the slope. At the end of the cross road there is Calvary, sometimes God's grave.

In the Nalžovské Hory, the cross road is set up on a flat hill, which they call the Halds here. The whole platform is park-like, and the chapels, two rows apart, face east to west. There's a bigger cross on the east side, and this is where the crossing begins. The chapels are made of stone, and at the top of the chapels the appropriate stopping of the cross-road is displayed on the tin substrates.

On the west side, three large baroque sculptures follow the road, bearing a coat of arms on the base. These are the statues of St. Vitus, St. Wenceslas and the Madonna with Santa Claus. As has already been written, this is an unusual solution. From the cross road to the east is St Catherine's Church, from the south the primary school building. There's a cemetery on the west side and the edge of town on the north.

Krížové cesty ve vetšine prípadu zacínají na úpatí kopecku a kaplicky jsou rozesety na svahu. Na konci krížové cesty bývá Kalvárie, nekdy i Boží hrob.

V Nalžovských Horách je krížová cesta rozmístena na plochém návrší, kterému tady ríkají Na Haldách. Celá plošina je parkove upravena a kaplicky ve dvou od sebe dosti vzdálených radách smerují od východu na západ. Na východní strane je vetší kríž a tady krížová cesta zacíná. Kaplicky jsou vytvoreny z kamene a v jejich horní cásti je na plechových podkladech zobrazeno príslušné zastavení krížové cesty.

Na západní strane na cestu navazují tri velké barokní sochy, které mají na podstavci erb. Jedná se o sochy sv. Víta, sv. Václava a Madony s Ježíškem. Jak již bylo napsáno, je to neobvyklé rešení. Od krížové cesty na východ je kostel sv. Kateriny, od jihu budova základní školy. Na západní strane je hrbitov a na severu okraj mestecka.
