Memorial plaque in St Peter & St Paul's church, Preston Capes, dedicated to John Henry Wilcox R.A.F.V.R., killed in action 1942. A brass plaque on a wooden backboard mounted at the west end of the north aisle.

The inscription reads -

THE LIGHTING IN THIS CHURCH IS DEDICATED
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF
JOHN HENRY WILCOX R.A.F.V.R.
KILLED IN ACTION 25TH OCTOBER, 1942 AGED 23 YEARS
BELOVED SON OF JOHN HENRY AND SYLVIA GERTRUDE WILCOX
BY WHOM THIS GIFT WAS MADE
