Oak pulpit in St Peter & St Paul's church, Preston Capes.

The pulpit dates from the church restoration in 1853. The traceried panels are designed in the same style as the nave pews, which in turn were copied from the medieval panels of of the pews in the chancel. The lower tier of panels has a quarterfoil design. The upper, longer, tier of panels has a row of blank shields along the bottom, above which are traceried panels of different designs.
