This fisherman tribute statue is located on the seawall in Greymouth, New Zealand. It was featured on a New Zealand postage stamp in 2009.

This rather plain statue depicts a fisherman in hat, coat, and boots. It was likely placed on the seawall here because of the important role fishing has played in the town of Greymouth. A plaque at the base of the statue reads "To Those Who Help Others."
