The Woodlot House was a furnace-owned tenant house outside Hopewell Village and constructed about 1800. The Woodlot House is approximately 18 by 15 feet. It appears to have been a one and a half stories high with a footing for a porch and a well.

The Woodlot House is perhaps inappropriately named. Its name was derived from its association with a CCC woodlot that was nearby, not from its relation to the furnace.

In 1983 the Youth Conservation Corps partially stabilized the Woodlot House.
